Paul Mueller Company Announces New President and New Member of the Board of Directors
SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Aug. 30, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Paul Mueller Company (Pink Sheets:MUEL) is pleased to announce that David T. Moore has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer effective August 29, 2011. He replaces Robert A. Nosal, who had served in the same position since April 2011.
Mr. Moore has deep experience in the operations of the Company both domestically and in Europe. He joined the Company as Chief Information Officer in 2001 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1997. He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago and a BA from Middlebury College.
The Board of Directors expressed confidence in the abilities demonstrated by Mr. Moore during his service with the Company.
The Company is also pleased to announce today that Jean L. Morris has been appointed to the Board of Directors effective August 29, 2011. She fills the vacant seat with a term expiring in 2012.
Mrs. Morris has a broad range of experience in marketing including retail and catalog operations and resort development. She is currently with Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri, and Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Missouri.
Mrs. Morris will serve on the Nominating and Compensation Committee.
The Board of Directors is pleased to gain Mrs. Morris' unique perspective on issues concerning business development and in other functional areas.
