Parker Hannifin Adds Etched PTFE Liners to Medical Products

Fort Worth, TX — Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, is pleased to introduce Etched PTFE Tubing for catheter assemblies. With wall thicknesses down to .001" and tolerances of +/- .0005, Parker etched PTFE tubing is extruded in a class 10,000 cleanroom, ensuring customers receive the best in-class extruded etched tubing available.

Because the etching process is so caustic, many companies do not have the infrastructure to obtain the necessary permits for in-house etching and are forced to send their products out to a third party.  Parker has invested in an on-site, etching facility to ensure the product never leaves the controlled process environment. Parker Etched PTFE Liners will be on display in booth #2445 at MD&M East, Jacob Javits Center, New York, June 9th through the 11th.

With annual sales of $13 billion in fiscal year 2014, Parker Hannifin is the world’s leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of mobile, industrial and aerospace markets. The company employs approximately 57,500 people in 50 countries around the world. Parker has increased its annual dividends paid to shareholders for 58 consecutive fiscal years, among the top five longest-running dividend-increase records in the S&P 500 index.
