Reston, Va.; - PMMI, the owner and producer of the PACK EXPO family of trade shows, and BNP Media, a B-to-B media company and organizer of the Food Safety Summit, are pleased to announce the Food Safety Summit Resource Center will be featured at PACK EXPO International 2012 (McCormick Place, Chicago; Oct. 28-31).

BNP Media and PMMI are jointly promoting the Food Safety Summit Resource Center, where leading experts will be on hand to answer attendees' questions.

"The Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) is complex and still developing. Understanding FSMA as it relates to your business is critical. The Food Safety Summit Resource Center will facilitate this understanding by providing opportunities to learn from leaders and experts in FSMA and other food safety initiatives," says Charles D. Yuska, president & CEO, PMMI.

The Food Safety Summit Resource Center first appeared at PACK EXPO International 2010, making this year's show the third time PMMI and BNP Media have presented this hub for information on food safety.

"This is BNP Media's third year to present the Food Safety Summit Resource Center at PACK EXPO, and we're looking forward to another great show," says Scott Wolters, director of tradeshows for BNP Media. "Our subject matter experts and speakers will address breakthroughs, challenges and solutions in food safety and, of course, the latest information on FSMA."

"From ingredients all the way through palletizing, food safety is a priority for PACK EXPO attendees. It's the law, and it's good business. With the Food Safety Summit Resource Center, PACK EXPO is pleased to give attendees one more way to address solutions that will go all the way down the line," Yuska says.

Details on programming at the Food Safety Summit Resource Center will be available in early summer.
