Our dataTakers Can Last a Decade or More!

Intelligent Automation Helps Protect Your Products and Processes

CHESTERLAND OH — At CAS DataLoggers we snapped this picture of a customer's 11-year old dataTaker data logger sent to us not for repair but just a simple calibration. That's right, it's still working perfectly and going strong! We supply the world-renowned dataTaker data loggers for customers who need a reliable way to monitor and alarm their processes and products. We even have some dataTaker models still in the field which are at least 20 years old! Give our experienced Applications Specialists a call at (800) 956-4437 and see what dataTaker can do for YOUR business.

Every day our customers rely on their dataTakers to monitor everything from diesel engine temperature to motor runtime to compressor current. Our dataTaker Series 3 Intelligent Data Loggers feature universal input channels for use with a wide range of input signal types. Users can record almost any physical value including Temperature, Voltage/Current, 4-20mA Loops, Resistance, Bridges, Strain Gauges, Frequency, Digital, Serial and almost any other signal.

Featuring a built-in web server and extensive communications capabilities including Ethernet, USB, Serial and cellular models, dataTaker data loggers can connect locally, remotely, or over the Internet. FTP provides data directly to your office over the internet or mobile phone network without any need for polling or specific host software. Additionally, these systems can be used for local data acquisition and logging via PC connection; for remote unattended data collection connected to a centralized computer via modem or the internet; or as stand-alone devices.

Our dataTaker solutions include the rugged and versatile DT80 data loggers. Their powerful alarm and programming capabilities allow these devices to process measurements and initiate actions all on their own. Automated alarming sends you an alert the instant your machine or product parameters go outside safe values, such as when temperature suddenly rises and poses a potentially disastrous threat to equipment and processes. This one feature can pay for the logger in a single event when you consider the production delays that often happen with legacy systems waiting for repairs.

Each dataTaker datalogger includes FREE built-in software—dataTaker dEX software is an intuitive graphical interface used to setup and operate dataTaker loggers. The web interface is easy to use and allows users to configure the dataTaker, access logged data and see current measurements as mimics or in a list using a web browser.

CAS DataLoggers is dataTaker's master distributor for North America and we offer these products at cost-effective prices packaged with our free expert technical support. Our dataTakers have survived falling off of moving trucks, travelling into the eye of a tornado in a stormchaser's project, and even working in the vacuum of space on board the International Space Station (ISS)—you can't get tougher than dataTaker!
