Robust, high-speed 2652 JetMachining® Center precisely cuts small and medium-sized parts
Kent, Washington- OMAX Corporation, the leading total solutions provider of the world's most advanced waterjet technology, will demonstrate the versatility and high-speed cutting precision of its 2652 JetMachining Center with a 37 kW (50 hp) EnduroMAX® Pump and Auto Feed Pneumatic Drill accessory in booth E2004 at the Japan International Machine Tool Fair 2012 (JIMTOF).
The OMAX 2652 JetMachining Center features an X-Y cutting travel of 1.32 meters x 0.66 meters with a high accuracy of motion, making it ideal for cutting small and medium-sized precision parts from a wide variety of materials, including metal, plastic, glass, ceramics, stone and composites. It is also capable of machining complex parts directly from pre-existing CAD drawings or .DXF files.
While the 2652 is one of OMAX's smaller-footprint solutions, the company considers the cantilever-style machine the workhorse within its wide array of innovative products. The 2652 delivers quick turnaround, providing machine shops with efficient machining without the hassle of tool changes, complex fixturing or secondary operations.
