Canton, Ohio -- February 10, 2006 -- Ohio Gratings, Inc. (OGI) and Meiser of Germany announce a joint venture to manufacture PRESS LOCK BAR GRATING in the United States. Meiser is an international market leader in the bar grating industry and manufactures
many types of bar grating products. Their operations include six manufacturing plants located in 5 countries with sales offices all over Europe including Egypt and the Middle East. Their products have been sold worldwide for over 40 years.
Operating two facilities, Ohio Gratings, Inc. has participated in all facets of the U.S. aluminum and steel bar grating industry including design commentary, engineering, manufacturing and fabrication since 1970. Their success has been driven by their motto "Make It Right and Ship When Promised." With combined experience of over 75 years, this joint venture will bring new products and marketing expertise to the North American market.
The new joint venture name is Meiser Bartley Grating, LLC (MBG) who will manufacture PRESS LOCK BAR GRATING for the Material Handling Industry for mezzanine walkways and racking systems. With unique spacing capabilities PRESS LOCK BAR GRATING is also ideal for many architectural applications, ADA walkways and almost any other grating application. PRESS LOCK BAR GRATING will be available to the North American marketplace through MBG and Ohio Gratings, Inc.
