Cisco’s new 2600 and 3600 series access points bring unprecedented value and performance to wireless networking. Cisco states that the new access points, designed to meet increasing mobility demand, "ensure an interference-free, high-speed wireless application experience, and will "sustain reliable connections at higher speeds farther from the access point than competing solutions, increasing the availability of 450 Mbps data rates."
The body form factor of the new 2600 and 3600 series access points is very similar to the form factor of the 1140 and 3500 series access points.
