North American Stamping Group Installs COE Coil Processing Line in Mexico


Sterling Heights, Mich., July 22, 2016 - COE Press Equipment announced that it has recently installed a new press feeding line at North American Stamping Group's (NASG) Queretaro, Mexico facility, which produces stamped parts and welded assemblies for the automotive and other industries. This system joins over 10 other COE lines already installed at various NASG location.



The 72-in. line can process coil from 0.040 to 0.325-inch thick material depending upon the width and steel strength. It features a 72-in. servo roll feed with a ServoMaster Touch controller, a 72 -in. by 14-ft. dual threading table with a roller top, and a 50,000-lb. capacity coil reel. The line also includes a COE 406 power straightener featuring ultrasonic variable speed loop control with a 3-position selector switch.
