Nordson DAGE to Highlight the X-Plane(TM) X-ray System Option at the 16th Annual SMTA Atlanta Expo & Tech Forum

Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, UK - Nordson DAGE, a division of Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ: NDSN), will exhibit its X-Plane(TM) X-ray system option at the upcoming SMTA 16th Annual Atlanta Expo & Tech Forum, scheduled to take place Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Gwinnett Civic Center in Duluth, GA.

Nordson DAGE representatives will be available to discuss the recently launched option, which has generated significant interest throughout the industry. The X-Plane(TM) option uses a proprietary, patent applied for, tomosynthesis (or CT) technique to create 2-D X-ray slices in any plane of a printed circuit board assembly without the need to cut or destroy the board. In this way, the superior image quality that Nordson DAGE X-ray systems always provide now can be extended into separating individual layers at a level of excellence that the traditional laminography technique cannot achieve.
