Nirvanix Expands Executive Management Team

Three industry veterans added to further drive company's growing business

SAN DIEGO - November 19, 2007 - Nirvanix today announced the hiring of industry veterans Major Horton as Chief Financial Officer, Jonathan Buckley as Chief Marketing Officer and Michael Landesman as Vice President of IT and Data Center Operations. The three newest members of the company's management team bring more than 60 combined years of technology experience and are charged with continuing the successful upward momentum established by Nirvanix during its recent company launch. All three report directly to Nirvanix CEO Patrick Harr.

In two months since the company launch, Nirvanix has successfully emerged from a stealthy beta process a little over a month ago and now boasts well over a hundred businesses on its Storage Delivery Network (SDN). Optimized for media-rich web applications, Nirvanix's Storage Delivery Network is the only B2B online storage platform on the market to provide such value-added applications as integrated media transcoding, image manipulation, and file search services, which further enable developers to significantly shorten time-to-market for their consumer-facing applications.

"Our ability to attract top talent to the Nirvanix management team is a clear indication that we have already achieved an emerging leadership position in the industry and that there is tremendous business potential in delivering our innovative Storage Delivery Network to businesses and developers around the world," said Patrick Harr. "The collective experience, intelligence and creativity among Major, Jonathan and Michael will only further our ability to exceed these objectives in expanding the reach of our revolutionary new storage model."

Horton previously served as the Senior Vice President and CFO of Rackspace Managed Hosting, where he was responsible for all finance, IT, procurement and change management functions at the $225 million Internet services company. Prior to Rackspace, Horton held a variety of Vice President posts at Dell Financial Services, including the company's Commercial Group, Operations & Asset Remarketing and Global Business Sales. He also served as Vice President and Segment Controller of the Fortune 500 Customer Segment at Dell Computer, where he also was a Group Controller and Director of Finance - Corporate Products and Line of Business Controller and Director of Finance - Corporate and Consumer Desktops. Horton served in other management positions at AlliedSignal Corporation, Deloitte & Touche and General Motors. He earned a Master of Science in Management from MIT and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.

Buckley comes to Nirvanix from PowerFile, an innovator in active archiving appliances for permanent storage of digital content and assets, where he served as the company's Vice President of Marketing. As the Vice President of Marketing for the software, internetworking and blade switch businesses lines at McDATA Corporation, Buckley's efforts resulted in a turnaround and 50 percent year-over-year growth of those business lines. Prior to McDATA, he was a founding team member and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for NetBrowser Communications, an enterprise software company that delivered a unified management solution for mission-critical infrastructure of Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Previously, he served as manager of the business strategy group at Arthur Andersen, LLP. Buckley earned a Bachelor's degree in economics from The George Washington University in Washington D.C.

Landesman brings more than 20 years of infrastructure and data center management expertise to Nirvanix. For the past decade, he has held senior leadership roles overseeing data center operations for Exodus Communications, Cable & Wireless, Savvis and Rackspace Managed Hosting. While with Exodus Communications, Landesman developed the Southern California operations, supporting over 650 hosting customers and 300,000 square feet of Tier III data center space before becoming the VP of Microsoft Services, supporting the collocation needs for Hotmail, MSNBC, MSN and Microsoft Live.
