Nirmal Tolani Joins Hendrickson International Operations as Director of Business Development


WOODRIDGE, Ill. - Nirmal Tolani recently assumed duties as director of business development for Hendrickson International Operations.

In this new role, Tolani will assist in development of Hendrickson's joint ventures in India and have responsibility for other international business development activities as they arise, reported Mike Keeler, Hendrickson vice president of international operations, in announcing the appointment.

Based in Woodridge, Tolani reports directly to Keeler. He comes to Hendrickson from Navistar, International Truck and Engine Division at Fort Wayne, Ind., with more than 30 years of experience in technical support to product design and development; product reliability and quality; manufacturing, and global sourcing and supplier development. Most recently he held the position of manager, metallic materials and specifications.

Tolani earned a master's degree in business administration from Indiana University in Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a master's degree in materials engineering from Mississippi State University in Mississippi State, Miss., and a bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India. He is also a registered professional engineer.

He is fluent in several Indian languages including Hindi, the most commonly used language in India.
