New Video from Eriez® Features E-Z Tec® XR-SS X-Ray Inspection Systems

Erie, Pa. - Eriez has produced a 2 ½ minute video highlighting its E-Z Tec® XR-SS (Side Shoot) Automatic X-Ray Inspection System which is ideal for use on high speed canning lines and upright non-glass containers. The video, narrated by Ray Spurgeon, Product Manager-X-Ray Inspection Systems, can be viewed at Eriez' YouTube channel: EriezMarcom.

Spurgeon explains, "In the past, there have been limited options available to scan products on high speed canning lines. However, with today's X-Ray technology, all that has changed." He continues, "The E-Z Tec XR-SS offers a solution."

The video explains that the challenge to inspect and remove bulged, dented, under-filled and contaminated cans has continually plagued processors. This is further complicated by the fact that many processors run their canning lines at very high speeds.

The E-Z Tec XR-SS was designed with high speed canning lines in mind. Spurgeon
explains, "For canning lines, the E-Z Tec XR-SS exhibits superior performance in simultaneously identifying metal foreign objects while detecting under-filled and misshaped cans." He adds, "For upright, non-glass products, this state-of-the-art inspection system is unsurpassed in detecting foreign objects and confirming fill levels."
