New Vice President Sales & Marketing Profiles

Matteo Luppi has been appointed Vice President Sales & Marketing for Profiles, effective immediately. In this new position Matteo will lead the global marketing, R&D and business segment functions within the Profiles business including; Marketing Profiles Europe, Sapa Technology, the Segments, Solar and Pole Products. He will report to Tim Stubbs, President and CEO of Sapa and be a part of the Executive Team.
"By this appointment we are making it clear that the voice of the customer is a top priority in Sapa. We are well under way in realizing the synergies within operations and purchasing. Now we are increasing this focus also in the commercial area", says Tim Stubbs.
Matteo Luppi came to Sapa in the joint venture with Alcoa. He was Commercial Director in Italy before he became the MD of Sapa Profiles Spain in 2008. He has a degree in Business Economics from Bologna University, Italy and an MBA from The Warton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Previous to joining Alcoa, Matteo worked as Sales & Marketing Director and Managing Director at Lotto Sports, Spain and as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group.
