New Schaffner EMC Product Catalog Targets Industrial Applications and Power Electronics


EDISON, N.J., Feb 16: Schaffner EMC, a leading provider of EMI/RFI components and solutions for power quality, has just made available an updated product catalog for industrial power systems that features a selected variety of its EMC/EMI line, as well as its range of power quality products. In addition, the catalog contains a completely re-worked section with in-depth information on the basics of EMC and power quality.

Schaffner's power quality products, such as line reactors and sine wave filters, are detailed in the updated, 150-page catalog, which contains a 53-page section with an introduction to power quality, annotations to filter specifications, typical applications and abbreviations. The topics discussed in this section include technical basics, legal requirements, EMC measurements, noise suppression methods, explanations of filter specifications, safety requirements, installation instructions and application examples.

The updated catalog also covers Schaffner's wide range of three-phase filters, four-wire filters and a selection of higher power single-phase filters, mainly for industrial applications. In addition, the catalog was designed for easier use and provides users with more up-to-date information than previous catalogs.

New selection charts, a simplified content page and additional index pages help users to find products or specific information quickly.
