New Release of XL2 Projector V 2.0
Schaan- NTi Audio updates the XL2 Projector software to its second generation offering new design, easier remote control plus full file access to stored files on the instrument.
The XL2 projector is the ideal complimentary SW tool for visualization of the XL2 screen on a PC. It is practical for reading the screen from a distance particularly for educational and training purposes.
The projector software, which runs on all Windows PCs, has been completely reworked. It connects to the XL2 via a USB cable and talks to the instrument via an automatically-assigned COM port. The remote control functionality via the PC mouse has been simplified and is now intuitively supported with click and wheel actions.
A major functional extension is the ability to switch the XL2, via the XL2 Projector software, between the mass storage mode and the normal remote control operation mode. Thus, a sound location can be measured and the data logged with control through the XL2 Projector. Thereafter the user may switch the instrument into the mass storage mode without physically touching the XL2, and transfer the logged data to the controlling PC for data post-processing.
The XL2 Projector software version V2.0 is available to all registered XL2 users and its download is free of charge.
