New Coagents Guide Helps Compounders Improve Rubber Formulations

EXTON, Pa. –  As part of its mission to keep compounders up to date with the latest high-performance rubber additive solutions, Sartomer Americas will be releasing a new guide highlighting its specialty acrylate and methacrylate rubber coagents. The guide provides rubber compounders with all of the technical data necessary for selecting the most appropriate Sartomer coagent for their rubber application needs. Sartomer will debut the guide at the 2015 International Elastomer Conference held October 13-15 in Cleveland, Ohio.

The new guide provides an in-depth overview of Sartomer’s coagents that are used to achieve optimal cure and processing for elastomer compounds in applications such as wires, cables, hoses, belts, seals, gaskets, adhesives, sealants, and tires. Formulating with the additives significantly increases the cure rate and state of cure for higher productivity and better final performance. The guide also examines the technology behind Saret® scorch-protected coagents, which improve scorch safety while maintaining optimal cure rate and performance.

For a copy of the new guide, and to speak to Sartomer’s formulation experts about your specific application challenges, visit booth 817 during the International Elastomers Conference.
