New Brochure from National Adhesives Highlights Package Sealing Adhesives

BRIDGEWATER, NJ, April 25, 2008 - National Adhesives (www.nationaladh.com) has published a new brochure on ULTRA-MELT® adhesives, the company's line of clean running, char-free and exceptionally low-maintenance hot melt packaging adhesives for manufacturers with 350°F performance requirements.

In addition to reducing downtime, ULTRA-MELT packaging adhesives are designed to improve release characteristics from equipment rails, enabling quicker clean-ups after occasional gun misfires, oversprays and line stoppages.

Each ULTRA-MELT adhesive delivers reliability over a wide range of substrate materials. Prime ULTRA-MELT 34-772C provides tack, speed, adhesion and excellent heat resistance, along with reduced odor and exceptional non-stringing and metal removability; Premium ULTRA-MELT 34-614C delivers the best heat resistance, fast set speed, excellent adhesion with reduced odor, plus exceptional non-stringing capability and metal removability; Traditional ULTRA-MELT 34-4622 offers excellent adhesion to difficult board stock, including recycled and high-performance liners; and ULTRA-MELT 34-2103 is designed for freezer-grade applications, when low temperature adhesion and performance is required.

A chart presents details for each product, including comparisons of adhesion under various circumstances, viscosity, thermal stability, cleanability off rails, vacuum feed, set speed, open time, and packaging options.
