Navitar Announces New International Regional Sales Manager
Rochester, New York (January 3, 2009) - Navitar, a global leader in the design, manufacturer and distribution of precision optics and opto-mechanical assemblies for the machine vision and digital projection industries announced today the appointment of Patrick Buvé as Regional Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Buvé will be based in Belgium and will oversee Navitar staff in Germany and the United Kingdom. Together they will focus on new business development and client retention throughout Europe.
Buvé joins Navitar with over fifteen years of experience in the Machine Vision industry. Prior to joining Navitar, Patrick was the European Sales Manager for CCS Europe NV, where he managed multiple sales channels consisting of OEM, machine vision partners and distributors. He worked closely with customers and company engineers to develop customized solutions according to the customer's requirements and handled key OEM accounts.

Buvé holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Group T Leuven Catholic Industrial University College in Belgium and is fluent in English, French, German and Dutch.
