Thousands of Attendees in 27 North American Cities to Learn How to Decrease Design Time While Increasing Efficiency

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 7, 2010 -- National Instruments (NASDAQ:NATI) today announced open registration for the 2010 NI Technical Symposium, a series of free, day-long technical forums that highlight the latest NI technology for improving system performance and productivity. These events, offered in 27 cities in the United States and Canada from September to December, will deliver technical sessions, hands-on tutorials and product demonstrations by NI experts to more than 3,000 scientists, engineers and industry professionals. National Instruments Alliance Partners, local field engineering teams and third-party exhibitors also will be on site to provide information on the most up-to-date advancements in embedded design, control and test.

Each NI Technical Symposium offers both technical and hands-on sessions relating to the latest NI products such as high-channel-count expansion chassis, NI X Series multifunction data acquisition devices for USB and NI LabVIEW 2010, the newest version of the graphical system design platform. Additional topics covered include optical and RF measurements; advanced motion control; NI LabWindows(TM)/CVI real-time testing; multicore design patterns; wireless sensor network programming; and best practices for LabVIEW development. Additionally, a keynote presentation by NI leadership highlights how graphical programming helps engineers and scientists take advantage of the latest generation of computing and measurement technologies to achieve new levels of application success.

"The NI Technical Symposium is the ideal place for both established customers and newcomers to learn how to use NI technology to develop solutions that will help them maintain their competitive advantage," said John Graff, vice president of Americas sales and marketing for National Instruments.
