NAM Names Todd Boppell as New Chief Operating Officer
Washington, D.C. – The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) announced Todd Boppell as its chief operating officer (COO), a newly created position within the association. Boppell had been serving as interim COO since August before being hired permanently for the role. He will work directly with NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons to lead all aspects of the NAM’s internal operations. Specifically, Boppell will continue to manage the finance and administration division along with overseeing the membership and strategic development divisions. He will also serve as a member of The Manufacturing Institute’s Board of Directors.

For the past four years, Boppell has been a partner and COO at Meshfrog Inc., a consulting company he cofounded in January 2012. At Meshfrog, Boppell worked with companies to tackle issues in aligning their technologies with their business objectives. Prior to cofounding Meshfrog, Boppell was president of Nexa Technologies, a multimillion-dollar software company that builds and hosts stock-trading platforms for a variety of firms located in the United States and Canada. Boppell served as Nexa’s senior vice president of operations and IT before assuming his role as president.
Boppell graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in social psychology and concentration in organizational behavior.
