PowerConnectSM and SkySpark™ Combination Delivers Advanced, Cost Effective Demand Response Solution to Building Automation Market
Carrolton, Texas – Murata Energy Solutions Americas, Inc., a subsidiary of Murata Electronics North America, Inc., announced the integration of SkyFoundry’s SkySpark™ analytics package into Murata’s PowerConnectSM platform. The combination delivers cost-effective, seamless data collection with unsurpassed analytics functionality. This is a critical facet in the performance of automated load management and emergency power supply system (EPSS) monitoring and control.
The SkySpark analytics package identifies operational issues and opportunities for savings. Further, it presents graphical and tabular data analysis to inform operators of exceptions and anomalies, including the ability to compare information from different time periods, temperature ranges, and other environmental factors. With its recently released Tariff Engine, SkySpark allows various operating scenarios to be analyzed with costs automatically calculated based on actual energy contract rates. The built-in functions are easily configured by the end-user to deliver a highly proprietary analysis. Further, custom functions, views, and reports can be created using the compact Axon scripting language.
