Powder Metallurgy Featured in Online GlobalSpec E-vent



Jim Dale, Vice-President of Member and Industry Relations, Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF), will be featured in a video presentation on powder metallurgy (PM) during the GlobalSpec "Machine Tools & Metal Working" e-vent on August 10, 2011. This free online conference and trade show will also feature their virtual exhibit hall, networking lounge, and resource center.

Dale's presentation, "Driving Success through Powder Metallurgy," will run between 12:30 and 1:15 PM EDT. The presentation will detail how evolution in powder production and performance as well as PM processing equipment have dramatically expanded the options enabling successful PM solutions to metal component design needs. High volume and tight tolerances are the sweet spots for this alternative to machining, casting, stamping and forging.
