Mitsubishi Laser Demos Top-Selling LVPLUS at Fabtech 2006

Mitsubishi Also Introduces New Five-Year Resonator Warranty

Wood Dale, IL - MC Machinery Systems, Inc. had a terrific turnout at Fabtech 2006. The company drew heavy traffic with an abundance of booth activity, including the announcement of a new five-year resonator warranty, live 2D and 3D laser equipment demonstrations, an introduction to the new Waterjet Powered by Mitsubishi Electric line, and registration for a Daytona 500 Giveaway.

Mitsubishi Laser announced the first-of-its-kind, five-year resonator warranty option at the Fabtech booth. The warranty option is available with the purchase of any new laser machine with a CFX resonator through January 31, 2007.

On display inside the booth was Mitsubishi Laser's best-selling machine ever, the newest high-speed laser cutting system, the 3015LVPLUS-40CFX. The machine's 40CFX is Mitsubishi's most powerful resonator yet, with standout X-Flow Technology. Its optimal beam quality and beam stability allows for maximum cutting power. With 4,000 watts, it can cut up to 1" mild steel, ½" aluminum and ¼" stainless steel.

Mitsubishi Laser's high-performance, three-dimensional multi-axis laser cutting VZ1 machine was also at the show. The VZ1's six-axis, zero-offset head is ideal for high-speed cutting on complex parts. Its Windows-based control system delivers maximum flexibility during programming, job setup and part cutting.

In addition to its laser equipment, Mitsubishi showcased the new line of Waterjet Powered by Mitsubishi Electric. Waterjet Powered by Mitsubishi Electric incorporates the precision of Mitsubishi controls and servo system, giving it the accuracy and precision required to complement Mitsubishi Laser technology. By incorporating Waterjet Powered by Mitsubishi Electric, fabricators can enhance their bottom line with expanding material capabilities and greater flexibility.

Waterjet's Mitsubishi 700 Series Control provides unprecedented productivity and operator comfort. Dedicated Nano control helps achieve high-precision machining, while improved unit graphics on a 15-inch water-proof screen and NC design simplify operation.

"The market is constantly changing, and we are continuously finding ways to stay your number one manufacturing partner. The Waterjet line will serve as a terrific complement to our existing lines," comments VP of Sales and Marketing, Bill Isaac.
