Misumi USA to Showcase in-CAD Rapid Design Tool at SOLIDWORKS World 2016
Attendees to see demonstration of how they can configure mechanical components using Rapid Design and SOLIDWORKS® software
SCHAUMBURG, IL — MISUMI USA, a manufacturer and distributor of configurable mechanical components for factory automation, announced that it will demonstrate Rapid Design inCAD Components at SOLIDWORKS World 2016, being held from January 31 – February 3, 2016 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, Texas, USA. The 18th annual SOLIDWORKS World brings together designers, engineers, managers, and partners to discuss ideas, trends, and the technology shaping the future of product design.
MISUMI USA’s Rapid Design inCAD Components configurator is for mechanical engineers who design machines for factory automation. Show attendees will see how Rapid Design inCAD Components and SOLIDWORKS software allow mechanical engineers to save design time and streamline the design-purchase cycle. As a SOLIDWORKS Research Associate, MISUMI USA has developed the Rapid Design inCAD Components plug-in to reduce design time, provide access to configurable components, and allow instant access to pricing and lead time without having to leave SOLIDWORKS. This new CAD library houses thousands of mechanical components that design engineers can quickly tailor to their design and import into their assembly.
