MIOX Corporation Awarded Climate Change Leadership Institutes 2012 Direct Action Award

Albuquerque, NM - MIOX Corporation, the technology leader in on-site chemical generation, announced that it will receive the 2012 Direct Action Award from the Climate Change Leadership Institute (CCLI). The award ceremony will take place at the MIOX corporate headquarters in Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, November 13th at 12:30PM MST.

CCLI selected MIOX for the 2012 Direct Action Award for providing economical solutions that enable cleaner oil and gas development. MIOX's non-toxic disinfectant chemistry process treats and purifies drilling wastewater on-site and provides meaningful benefits including: eliminating the use of hazardous chemicals; significantly reducing truck traffic and greenhouse emissions; lowering operating costs; and increasing worker and community safety.

"MIOX is demonstrating integrity by providing economical solutions that help make oil and gas drilling cleaner by producing cost efficient water purification and treatment systems that make common sense," said Robb Hirsch, Executive Director & Founder of CCLI. "Companies and products of this caliber are the way of the future as they are producing business friendly, sustainable development solutions which make it economically more cost effective to achieve a new era of responsible energy in America."

"I am very proud to be part of an organization that provides greener technology to the oil and gas industry," says Charles Mowrey, MIOX Director of Business Development. "It is an honor to be recognized by the CCLI for our efforts in driving a clean energy future."
