Midwest Prototyping LLC Acquires Manitowoc Prototypes Inc

Blue Mounds, WI, December 5, 2008 - Midwest Prototyping LLC announced today that they have acquired Manitowoc Prototypes Inc. (Manitowoc, WI). Manitowoc Prototypes (MPI), owned by Rudie and Jill Bruss has been in business since 1990 and is a supplier of both SLA and SLS parts.

"We are very excited about this acquisition as it allows us to provide SLS production in-house. In addition, we will also be increasing our SLA capacity. We look forward to continuing the great relationships Rudie has developed with his customers and expanding the services available to them. We know our current customers will be excited to have access to SLS parts with the quality and timeliness they have grown accustomed to from our company", stated Steve Grundahl, president of Midwest Prototyping.

MPI's operations have been relocated to Midwest Prototyping's new, 18,000 sq ft building located in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin which is just outside of Madison.
