Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc. Announces ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Certification demonstrates that Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc. has a quality management system in place to consistently produce products that exceed customer expectations.

Mercer Island, WA – Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc., a Seattle based manufacturer of high-temperature resistant insulation materials, is proud to announce its recent ISO 9001:2008 certification.

To achieve ISO certification, a company must fulfill requirements outlined by the International Standardization Organization (ISO). Specifically, ISO 9001:2008 requires an organization to demonstrate a quality management system that has the ability to consistently provide product that meets customer requirements, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.

ISO 9001:2008 certification also means the organization has demonstrated its commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through the application of the management system, with processes for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to customer, statutory and regulatory requirements.

Nicole Bauer, General Manager and Senior VP of Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc. credits the company’s successful completion in achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification to Mid-Mountain’s employees. “Our biggest strength is a great group of experienced, long term employees who want to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification for the right reason: commitment to manufacturing quality products and exceeding our customers’ expectations. We have a very strong set of quality policies and procedures in place to carry us forward in our success.”
