Meet the Material Handling Superheroes

MHEDA's 2010 Board of Directors uses its powers to direct the association.

Dewitt, NY - The First Quarter 2010 issue of The MHEDA Journal (http://themhedajournal.org), the leading online magazine for the forklift, conveyor, storage & handling, and general material handling equipment industries, was mailed to subscribers on January 15 and is now accessible online at www.TheMhedaJournal.org.

This issue includes the annual Meet the Board feature introducing the members of the association board to the membership. MHEDA's Board is made up of ten directors, two advisors and a five-person executive committee. Greg Morrison, vice president of Morrison Industrial Equipment Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is MHEDA's 2010 President.

To introduce this year's Board, The MHEDA Journal developed a comic strip based on the 17 Board members' responses to a series of questions:

o What unique skill do you bring to the Board?

o What one thing would you change about the material handling industry if you had the power?

o What management strength do you rely on most to run your company?

o When confronted with a challenge, what is the first thing you do?

o What one superpower would you like to have and why?

Each panel of the strip features Board member's responding to the questions posed by Morrison, their leader. The final panel of the comic strip shows all 17 Board members demonstrating their superpower under the tagline, "Let's get to work."
