METV Free Online Video Channel Launched by SME


DEARBORN, Mich., October 11, 2006: The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) recently launched a free online streaming video channel known as Manufacturing Engineering TV (METV) at www.sme.org/metv. Each month, viewers will be able to watch an SME award-winning video program on their computer free of charge in its entirety. METV provides a service to evaluate a new video from some of SME's leading titles on Machining, Lean, Quality, Forming & Fabricating and Composites. METV is targeted at manufacturing engineers, managers, designers, students, job shop owners, and those who look to increase their knowledge of fundamental and advanced concepts to improve their products and services.
