Metalformers to meet in Sylvania in April.

Metalformers To Meet In Sylvania In April



SYLVANIA, OH-March 27, 2008-The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) Northwest Ohio District will host a meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, to provide metalformers with information on getting results when undertaking organizational improvement initiatives.

Speaker Clinton O. Longenecker, Ph.D., a Stranahan Professor of Leadership and Organizational Excellence in the College of Business Administration at the University of Toledo, will discuss how employing practices of the two-minute drill can drive organizational change. During this program, he will explain why 70 percent of two-minute drills in the NFL and college are successful while less than 20 percent of most organizational improvement initiatives are winners and what to do about it. Dr. Longenecker's teaching and research interests are in leadership, management effectiveness, organizational development and rapid performance improvement. He has been the recipient of nearly 20 awards for outstanding teaching and research as well as several industry awards.

The meeting will begin on Wednesday, April 23 at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $25 per person, which includes breakfast. The event will take place at the Sylvania Country Club, 5201 Corey Rd., Sylvania, OH.
