Regional METALFORM Shows Continue to Gain Popularity

Birmingham Show Floor Expanded More Than Seven Months Prior to Show

CLEVELAND, OH-September 11, 2007-METALFORM, the most respected, results-oriented metal stamping, tool and die, forming and fabricating event in North America, will hold its regional exposition April 1-3, 2008, in Birmingham, AL.

Regional METALFORM shows, which occur in even-numbered years and offer exhibitors limited booth sizes and lower cost, made their debut in Louisville, KY, in 2004. The 40,000- net-square-foot floor plan sold out one month before the show and sparked a record 72 first-time exhibitors. Building on that success, Regional METALFORM 2006 in Nashville, TN, boasted 50,000 net square feet - 25 percent larger than Louisville.

The regional shows continue to gain popularity as they move down the I-65 corridor, in the area known as "Automotive Alley." The next stop is the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, AL. Due to overwhelming response, the original 40,000-square-foot show floor has been expanded to house the maximum exhibit space allowable in the hall-48,000 net square feet. With more than six months left before the show, 82 percent of the expanded floor space is already occupied.

Since its inception in 1981, METALFORM has maintained a must-see status. Targeting metal stamping, tool and die, fabricating, metal spinning, roll forming, slide forming and other related manufacturing technologies, it's the one show for metalforming industry professionals.
