Met-Pro Corporation Mourns Loss of Board Member Dr. Constantine "Taki" Papadakis


Harleysville, PA, April 8, 2009 - Raymond J. De Hont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE:MPR), today expressed condolences on behalf of Met-Pro's Board of Directors and entire organization on the passing of Board Member and Drexel University President, Dr. Constantine "Taki" Papadakis.

Mr. De Hont commented, "We are all very saddened by the sudden passing of Taki, a true friend and outstanding leader whom we had the privilege of having served as a member of our Board of Directors since 2004. His contribution to the Company's growth and success was significant. He will be missed and his loss sorely felt. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Eliana and daughter Maria."
