MESA Announces Winners of award for MESA contributions.

MESA International Announces Winners of the 2016 'Outstanding Contribution to MESA' Award



Volunteers drive the association into its 24th year



CHANDLER, ARIZ. - The Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA) International announces the winners of its 2016 'Outstanding Contribution to MESA' Award.  The annual award was established in 2008 to recognize the effort and dedication of individuals whose personal contributions have greatly benefited the entire association.



This year MESA is pleased to present this award to Jimmy Asher of Savigent Software and Conrad Leiva of iBASEt.



Commenting on the award, Jimmy Asher states, "I'm honored to be recognized with MESA's Outstanding Contributor Award, as I join company to those that provide so much to MESA.  MESA is largely a volunteer association, where individuals have the opportunity to contribute to various committees and working groups that drive a global organization. Its existence is crucial to manufacturing and IT systems - as MESA provides a neutral venue to discuss and share common, time-relevant best practices with an eye to future trends and needs.



While this award recognizes me as an individual, I enjoy support and collaboration from many within an organization that I am pound to be part of and serve. I encourage everyone to play an active role in an area that aligns with their passion and/or skills."



Award winner Conrad Leiva, who leads the Smart Manufacturing working group, adds, "I'm lucky to be working at MESA with leaders from visionary companies with a common goal to realize the Smart Manufacturing vision and move the entire industry to new levels of connectivity, collaboration and orchestration. The mix of contributions from manufacturers, vendors and consultants yields the best practical guidance on this evolutionary journey to revolutionary results."
