Mersen Appoints General Manager of Rochester, NY Facility

NEWBURYPORT, Mass. (March 26, 2012) - Mersen, a global leader in the field of electrical protection, has named Christopher Ogden as general manager at Mersen's Rochester, NY facility. Chris will oversee all operations at Mersen's laminated busbar plant.
Chris has over 35 years experience in many facets of manufacturing. Chris was previously the manager of operations at Eldre, which was recently acquired by Mersen. Prior to Eldre, Chris held positions at Storm Copper Components, where he was the director of business development, and Methode Electronics, Inc., where he was the general manager and manufacturing manager. Chris is the author of two patents in process and component integration.
Chris studied business at Harper College in Palantine, IL, and has completed coursework in advanced marketing at the University of Chicago Graduate School.
