Menasha Facilities Recertified for Product Safety, Quality
Third Consecutive Year Wisconsin, Pennsylvania Facilities Recognized by BRC
NEENAH, Wis. – Menasha facilities in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania have been recognized for the third straight year by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standards, a leading global product safety and quality certification program.
Menashas Neenah and Hartford, Wis. plants and its Yukon Plant, located in Ruffs Dale, Penn., all achieved A grade certifications for the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials. The companys Midwest Fulfillment Center, also located in Neenah, was awarded a BRC Global Standard Certificate for Storage and Distribution.
The BRC Global Standards require we show continuous improvement in our programs and processes that support product safety and quality, said Tim Lafond, Quality Manager for Menasha. Very few U.S. paper packaging suppliers are certified to this prestigious standard, and Menasha is proud to have multiple facilities among this elite group.
The BRC Global Standards are highly regarded and widely used by suppliers and retailers worldwide since they aid in standardizing quality, product safety, operational criteria and manufacturers fulfillment of legal obligations. Its Packaging and Packaging Materials standard is also a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognized scheme.
