Mazak Optonics Corporation Partners with Westway Machinery
Elgin, Illinois –Â Mazak Optonics Corp. is partnering with Westway Machinery in Ontario to distribute Mazak laser-cutting systems in Eastern Canada.
Founded as a home business in 1972 by Rudy Walter, Westway Machinery has successfully grown into a 28,000 sq. foot distributing warehouse for both new and used metal forming and fabricating machinery. The company is now run by Rudy Walter’s sons, Frank and Bernie, who have helped it grow to become one of Ontario’s largest dealers of new machines.
“We are excited about our new partnership with Mazak Optonics,” explained Frank Walter, Westway Machinery President. “The Mazak brand represents a well-known, high-quality and innovative laser product that complements our sheet metal expertise. We are very optimistic about our future together in the Eastern Canadian market.”
The partnership will cover distribution in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes and is effective immediately.
