Matrox to Exhibit at 2013 Honeywell Users Group Asia - Pacific Symposium

Matrox offers multi-monitor thin client, uncompressed KVM extension, & collaborative video over IP/video wall solutions for process control

MONTREAL — Matrox® Graphics Inc. is a proud sponsor of the 2013 Honeywell Users Group Asia Pacific Symposium (Perth, Western Australia, Aug. 25-29) and will be presenting its latest add-in graphics cards, KVM extenders, video wall controller boards, and video over IP encoders/decoders for Honeywell control systems. Honeywell industrial automation integrators will also discover how to leverage Matrox technologies to meet any high-performance, control room visualization requirement, driving everything from multi-monitor process control operator stations to a collaborative video wall.

Matrox Avio™ KVM extenders

Matrox Avio™ F125 fiber-optic KVM extenders separate dual-HD video, USB keyboard and mouse, stereo analog audio, and USB 2.0 signals from a workstation. The transmitter/receiver pair extends two single-link DVI (2x1920x1200) or one dual-link DVI (2560x1600 or 4096x2160) video, and multiple high-speed USB 2.0 compliant devices from the host computer by up to 400 m (1312 ft) over multimode cable and 4 km (2.5 mi) over single-mode cable. Avio F125 stands out for its ability to transmit all signals with zero compression and zero latency over one duplex LC-LC fiber-optic cable.

Matrox Extio™ KVM extenders

Matrox Extio™ KVM extenders separate the user interface components—keyboard, mouse, audio peripherals, and graphics hardware—from the host PC by up to 1 km (3280 feet) over a single strand of fiber-optic cable. Matrox Extio KVM extenders are fanless devices that support up to four high-resolution monitors at 2560x1600 per display, resulting in unmatched HD resolution support and uncompromised workstation performance. Combine Extio 2408 with an Extio F2408E Expander unit to drive up to 8 displays from a single workstation via fiber-optic cable.

Matrox M-Series graphics cards

Matrox M-Series multi-display graphics cards render pristine images across up to eight high-resolution monitors at up to 2560x1600 for an exceptional user experience. With up to 2 GB of memory and advanced desktop management features such as stretched and independent desktop modes via included Matrox PowerDesk software, M-Series boards drive applications with extraordinary performance.

Matrox Maevex™ 5100 Series video over IP encoder and decoder

Matrox Maevex™ 5100 Series delivers excellent streaming quality at a fraction of the cost of competitor products. Maevex video over IP solutions extend Full HD 1080p video over standard IP networks for collaborative video walls, manufacturing and automation, process control, and many other applications. Maevex encoders and decoders capture, stream, and decode video from a variety of sources, and even allow for third-party software-based decoding on non-Maevex devices. Maevex units come bundled with PowerStream software, which enables easy, remote management of Maevex devices and a wide variety of user-defined stream-management features. These include adjustable bit rates for minimal and cost-effective bandwidth consumption.

Matrox Mura™ MPX Series video wall controller boards

Matrox Mura™ MPX Series output/input video wall controller boards feature highly flexible, universal input channel support for both digital and analog (DVI, RGB/VGA, Component, S-Video & Composite) video signals. Compatible Mura MPX analog video capture cards provide additional NTSC/PAL/SECAM input channel support and the Mura MPX-SDI board features two 3G SDI video inputs and two DVI outputs. Matrox MuraControl video wall management software for Windows® or iPad® meanwhile offers intuitive control over Mura MPX-powered installations and the ability to edit and display content to meet specific needs in a wide range of sectors.
