Marathon Eng. & Env. Services, Aqua Terra, Merger Announced


SWEDESBORO, N.J., July 9 / -- Marathon Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc. announced today that it has merged with Aqua Terra, P.A. This merger solidifies Marathon's position as a major engineering and environmental services provider in the Delaware Valley region. With the addition of Aqua Terra, Marathon adds to an already extensive staff of engineers, planners, geologists, environmental scientists and IT specialists. Marathon will retain the Aqua Terra offices in Hammonton, NJ, centrally located relative to its existing offices in Cherry Hill, Swedesboro and Absecon.

Aqua Terra is an engineering and planning firm that has served central southern NJ for over thirty years. "The addition of experienced personnel strategically located to serve our clients will help us keep up with the unprecedented growth we have been experiencing" states Rick Ricciardi, President of Marathon. Terms of the merger are undisclosed as both companies are privately owned. The merger was announced today but was effective July 1, 2007.
