Manncorp ECM Series Pick & Place Systems Acclaimed for Long-Term Reliability

ECM Series pick and place systems reportedly have been a staple of the Manncorp surface mount product line for almost two decades, a record of equipment longevity that could be unmatched in the fast-paced world of electronic assembly.

Over the years, these low-to-mid-volume placers have undergone numerous refinements and upgrades to keep pace with advancing technology. Today's generation of ECMs include on-the-fly vision to mount a full range of SMDs, as well as the availability of bottom vision for BGAs, CSPs and larger fine-pitch components of up to 40mm x 40mm.

CEO Henry Mann attributes ECM's enviable record of longevity to the "simplicity of its design combined with consistent excellence in its manufacture." He states, "Our customers have had these machines running shift-after-shift and year-after-year, through countless changeovers and product cycles. Their low cost, ease of use and enviable track record of long-term reliability make ECM pick and place systems a wise choice for today's mid-range PCB assemblers."

Three ECM models are available: The fully automatic 2,700 cph ECM-80011, from $35,995, including 54 8mm feeders. Bench-top versions are the ECM-6711, from $27,995, with 48 8mm feeders, and the starter model ECM-5611, from $23,995, complete with 24 8mm feeders. Each of the machines includes Windows® software and CAD download. Optional dispensing heads are capable of 6,000 dots per hour.
