First Ballistic Spectacle to Meet the "Face Form Requirement" and Provide Lateral Protection Recognized for Battle-Proven Record
Wiley X® Eyewear is proud to announce that its renowned Wiley X Talon(TM) ballistic eyewear line has been issued National Stock Number (NSN) 4240-01-583-5158, (and NSN 6540-01-584-0073 to its Rx plug-in) by the US government. NSNs are assigned to products in use by the federal government with a proven track record in specific applications, paired with a strong history of ongoing governmental procurement.
While the Wiley X Talon is available through GSA, the issuance of an NSN number is a completely separate category. Products are given a 13-digit numeric code identifying all the 'standardized material items of supply' as recognized by the United States Department of Defense, thus the US government and military agencies can now specify the Wiley X Talon by its NSN nomenclature.
