Louis P. Batson Company Expands Sales Force


Greenville, SC: Louis P. Batson Company recently added James A. "Jim" Hiers as Product Manager. Caroline B. Stewart, President, made the announcement.

Hiers will travel extensively within the United States to market Batson machinery and accessories specific to the converting industry.

Most recently, Hiers founded and owned Paper Converters, Inc. in Walterboro, South Carolina. Paper Converters, Inc. slits and rewinds paper and manufactures paper tubes and angle boards. Additional past experience includes management of corporate sales, purchasing and material procurement.

For sixty years and three generations, family-owned Louis P. Batson Company, and its affiliates Batson Group, Inc and Louis P. Batson Incorporated, has been a provider of industrial capital equipment, machinery accessories, spare parts, plant supplies and technical service to the textile, converting, nonwoven and plastic industries.
