Linde Canada Launches New, Improved eCommerce Site

Mississauga, Canada – Linde Canada Limited has launched Linde WebShop to enable customers throughout Canada to shop online. Located at http://www.shop.lindecanada.com, the site provides product descriptions, images and prices for more than 10,000 products including gases, welding and cutting equipment, consumables and safety supplies.

The bilingual site opens a new channel for Linde and is a step change in our mission to become an easy company for customers to do business with. Customers can browse the catalogue, order items, view account details, check and recreate orders based on history, download invoices and delivery documents and access safety information, including Material Data Safety Sheets and videos. “It’s as easy as ordering on any of the well-established online marketing sites and, for our busy customers, fast and easy are very important,” said Robert Parkanyi, customer service manager - eCommerce. “And customers can rest assured that our security is state of the art.”

Linde has plans to make the site even better in 2016, including on-line live chat and a mobile app that customers can use to scan the barcodes of empty cylinders to reorder that product, find the closest Linde store, get directions and more. “The mobile app will be the first of its kind in the Canadian industrial gas industry offering our customers convenience and accuracy in reordering cylinder products,” Lafleur said.. It gives them an additional option when doing business with us, with access 24hours a day, seven days a week.”
