Lighting Science Group Holds Successful LED Suppliers Summit

SATELLITE BEACH, Fla., Jan. 18, 2011 - LED lighting suppliers from around the world came to Satellite Beach, Florida last week to forge a closer relationship with America's leading maker of LED-based lighting, Lighting Science Group Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: LSCG). The summit was held to directly connect key Lighting Science Group executives with their supplier counterparts in order to strengthen the American company's manufacturing supply chain.

"During the last year we have seen dramatic growth in our business and we could not have accomplished this without our strategic supplier relationships," said John Stanley, chief operating officer of Lighting Science Group. "As we move forward into 2011 and the coming years, we will continue to strengthen and develop these relationships and our Annual Vendor Summit is a key part of that relationship development process. This was a great opportunity for the Company and our vendors to build partnerships that will revolutionize the way the world experiences light."

From the International Space Station to the Times Square Ball to other projects in major cities across the world and now in homes, Lighting Science Group's LED solutions are increasing energy independence and saving consumers, businesses and governments significant amounts of money. In fact, the Company's products are so state-of-the-art, they are the NASA partner to develop cutting-edge lighting technologies for use in space exploration; they recently received the industry's first ENERGY STAR label for an LED light bulb; and now they have over three times the number of ENERGY STAR approved bulbs than their closest competitor.
