LEWCO Ovens Utilizes the Heatcon Control System
SANDUSKY, OH – LEWCO, Inc. recently shipped a custom industrial oven to be used for vacuum bagged composite curing of repair parts by a foreign aircraft manufacturer. The oven includes a vacuum pump with a transducer on the main header and (2) manual vacuum ports. The control system features a Heatcon HCS-2040-12 controller.
The Heatcon control system is widely used throughout the composites industry for making localized composite repairs along with Heatcon's Hot Bonder System. It is an excellent choice for an "all in one" controller providing accurate temperature control and the required data logging and reporting required by many composite manufacturers.
According to Senior Applications Engineer, Lou Schaefer; "LEWCO has the in house engineering and design capabilities to customize an oven control system to meet customer's unique requirements. Most of the time, our standard designs can be easily adapted/modified to use whatever type of controller is specified."
