Leviton to Showcase Latest Innovations at Cisco Live
Leviton's latest innovative system solutions for copper and fiber networks, Atlas-X1™ UTP and Opt-X® UHD, will be on display at Leviton booth #2901
BOTHELL, Wash., – Leviton will exhibit its latest innovative system solutions for copper and fiber networks at Cisco Live 2015, in the San Diego Convention Center from June 8-11. These new systems - on display at Leviton booth #2901 - will enable copper migration to Cat 8 and 40GBASE-T and consolidate patching in racks for ultra high-density fiber optic systems.
• Attendees will get a first-hand look at the new Atlas-X1™ UTP and shielded connectors. The Atlas-X1 is the industry's first connector to support shielded applications from Category 8 to 5e and UTP applications from Category 6A to 5e, all from one unified form factor. Ideal for deployment in mission-critical networks, Atlas-X1 delivers the highest level of verified performance and reliability, offers tool-free termination for simplified installations and is easily scalable for network migration up to 40GBASE-T. The new Atlas-X1 system, with Berk-Tek pre-production cable, has been confirmed by ETL to meet performance standards found in the current draft 2.0E of the TIA-568-C.2-1 Category 8 proposed standard, and can support the operation of IEEE 802.3bq 40GBASE-T applications up to 30 meters.
• The new Opt-X® UHD Fiber Optic Enclosure System will also be on display. Integrating Leviton HDX Cassettes and Berk-Tek's small-diameter Micro Datacenter Plenum (MDP) cable, this system offers the highest fiber density per rack unit and the smallest structured cabling footprint in the industry. The system meets the needs of IT managers looking to capitalize on existing network infrastructure space, while providing easier port identification and cable management, improving airflow.
