Leviton Expands International Operations with Appointment of Valiente as Specification Engineer for Puerto Rico
Melville, New York, June 16, 2010 -- Leviton Manufacturing Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Francisco Valiente as Specification Engineer for the company's operations in Puerto Rico. In his new role, Valiente will provide specification support for Leviton's lighting energy management and network management systems, as well as its electrical infrastructure solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Valiente will focus on developing specification training, sales support materials and specialized programs for distributors, contractors, architects and end-user communities.
Valiente arrives at Leviton with formidable experience in marketing, sales and technical solutions specification. His prior industry experience includes posts as a system designer and sales representative for Light Systems Design, where he developed next generation systems for homes and business, and for Intellihomes, where he led the design, sales, coordination and installation of integrated networking systems and residential electronics. He also worked as a supervisor for a market research firm, Research & Research directing field research operations in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and South America.
