Lazer-Tech Canada Takes on Quick Turn
Press release date: September 30, 2010
Toronto, Ontario Canada - Jamie Armitage, President of Lazer-Tech has announced that his company is now targeting the Quick Turn market. "For the past year we have been gearing up to build our boards quicker and more efficiently. In anticipation of offering quick turn service, we have enhanced our front end engineering team along with optimizing other critical processes. So many of our customers have been asking for Quick Turn service, for a long time. Therefore, we decided to develop a strategy where we would be able to positively respond to their requests, and we are now truly able to go out and market our quick turn services," said Armitage." As a printed circuit board fabricator, we do not necessarily have a specific product that we offer, but rather a responsibility to build our customers' products exactly as they ask. They entrust us with the foundation of their complete project, and this is a responsibility that we take very seriously." Added, General Manager, Bruce Johnston, "as part of our due diligence in developing our strategy, we came to realize that there really aren't any PCB shops in Eastern Canada who are focused on Quick turn, which, of course, gave us all the more incentive to offer this service." At this time Lazer-Tech is offering 72 hour turns and predicts that within the next few months will be in a position to offer 48 hour turns followed shortly by 24 hour turns. Speed, complexity and performance is what makes Lazer-Tech different from their competitors. They know that their customers' success depends on how Lazer-Tech performs as their critical vendor partner With their corporate Quality Metrics at 98.87% YTD and OTD metrics at 98.8%, Lazer-Tech is Canada's premier printed circuit board supplier in terms of performance.
