Costa Mesa, CA — Laurel Electronics, Inc. announces that its Laureate Series digital panel meters and counters, its QLS Quad Loop Splitter, and its LT series transmitters have been ETL safety certified by Intertek, a National Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), to comply with the following standards which apply to the United States and Canada:
• UL 61010-1, Issued:2004/07/12 Ed:2 Rev: 2008/10/28 UL Standard for Safety Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control, and Laboratory Use; Part 1: General Requirements
• CSA C22.2#61010-1 Issued:2004/07/12 Ed:2 (R2009) Safety Requirements for Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control, and Laboratory Use Part 1: General Requirements, with general instruction No. 1: 2008/10/28 - (R2009)
A Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) is an independent laboratory recognized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to test products to the specifications of applicable product safety standards, such as those of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). An NRTL's function is to provide independent evaluation, testing, and certification.
The Intertek control number for Laureate products is 4006497. This number is shown on the label of Laurel’s ETL certified products.
