Larson Electronics' Explosion Proof Fluorescent Fixture to be Featured on NBC's "Blindspot"

Kemp, Texas 75143 - From the big screen to your home television, industrial lighting equipment leader Larson Electronics has experienced significant expansion into the film entertainment industry.

Producers of NBC’s hit television show “Blindspot” have chosen the company’s four foot explosion proof light fixture to be used in the season premiere, set for September. The rugged design of the fluorescent light fixture has proven to be a popular choice among set designers with upcoming appearances in large films such as “Deepwater Horizon” and “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage”.

The EPL-48-2L explosion proof fluorescent fixture from Larson Electronics is rated Class 1 Division 1, approved for use in paint spray booths, and carries a T6 temperate rating. This unit includes two optional fluorescent lamps that are protected by heat and impact resistant Pyrex tubes. The fixture is constructed of copper free aluminum alloy powder coated for corrosion resistance. The lamp reflectors are corrosion resistant heavy gauge aluminum and coated with a high gloss reflective finish. This fixture is multi-voltage and operates on current ranging from 120 to 277 volts AC. The unit can be surface mounted or pendant mounted and wiring connections are made through a ½ inch NPT hub.

“Larson Electronics strives to produce quality products that perform just as well as the ones displayed on the big screen and on your home television,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. “We take great pride in bringing the latest advanced technology to the filming industry as well as the average customer.”
