Larson Davis Releases Update to Audiometer Calibration Systems
New Version 2.0 Software and Couplers Introduced
Depew, NY - Larson Davis, a division of PCB Piezotronics Inc., and a leader in environmental and industrial hygiene noise measurements is pleased to announce updates to their Audiometer Calibration Systems. The updated AUDit(TM) V2.0 software greatly improves the overall audiometer test speed and adds the ability to enter environmental correction factors to ensure test accuracy. In addition, three new coupler options have been added for Insert Type Hearing Aids, Earphones and Occluded-Ear calibration testing. A coupler selection guide has been provided to assist customers with the correct selection of transducers.
Larson Davis audiometer calibration systems combine the power and versatility of the System 824 Real Time Analyzer with AUDit(TM) Software to create a complete, portable audiometer test and calibration solution. Standard audiometer tests can be performed manually on the Model 824 or use AUDit(TM) software to control the system and run a full battery of audiometer performance and accuracy tests with minimal operator intervention. For interfacing with the wide variety of audiometer transducers used, Larson Davis offers NBS 9-A, IEC 60318 and other couplers as well as an extremely practical artificial mastoid. The combination of AUDit(TM) and the 824 is a field ready solution for fast, comprehensive audiometer calibration. A new brochure highlights the various changes.
